Non-Wood Forest Products: History and State in Circular-Bioeconomy of Bulgaria

This work examine the inclusion of NWFR and their role in country's economy.
 Data from annual reports Ministry Agriculture Food (MAF) Forestry Executive Agency (FEA), National Statistical Institute (NSI), statistics UN (Comtrade), Eurostat other sources information (scientific studies, FAO publications, etc.) are used.
 In Bulgaria, organized collection use NWFP has been a livelihood for many people more than century. Тhe paper analyzed utilization most important harvested forests period 2001-2022 participation national international trades.
 The brief review state trends shows that Bulgaria there is tendency permanent decrease income forestry during 2001 - 2022.
 At same time significant reserves unused NWFR, which indicates great opportunity to expand increase enterprises.
 Considering potential problems forest sector it clear domestic demand markets some (medicinal plants, wild mushrooms, kinds fruits, represent bioeconomy offer chance improving supply supporting generation rural areas.
 production advanced products materials on biological basis with high value hidden key opportunities development Bulgaria.
